If you’re unsure whether chiropractic can help, our team can assess your situation during your first visit

What should I expect on my first visit?

You’ll be welcomed by our friendly team, who will ensure you feel comfortable and supported from the moment you arrive. Your chiropractor will take a thorough health history and perform a series of orthopedic and neurological assessments to identify the root cause of your concern. If X-rays are indicated, we have on-site facilities for your convenience.
Following your assessment, you’ll receive a detailed report outlining our findings and a clear, personalised plan to help you move forward.

How do I book an appointment?

Complete the survey above to start the process, receive your special offer, and one of our team will be in touch to find a time that suits you.

Does chiropractic treatment hurt?

Most people are pleasantly surprised — treatment is generally comfortable and many patients feel relief during or immediately after their first adjustment. You may experience mild muscle soreness for 24–48 hours afterward, similar to how you feel after a new workout. We always work within your comfort level and will explain everything before we do it.

How many visits will I need?

It depends on what's going on and what your goals are. Some people get significant relief in just a few visits; others with longer-standing issues benefit from a structured care plan over several weeks. After your initial assessment we'll give you a clear recommendation — no vague open-ended treatment plans.

Is chiropractic care safe?

Chiropractic is one of the most researched and regulated manual therapies available. It is generally considered safe when delivered by a qualified practitioner. As with any treatment, some people may experience mild temporary reactions such as soreness. Our chiropractors are university-trained, AHPRA-registered practitioners. We conduct a thorough history and examination before any treatment, and will always let you know if we think another form of care is more appropriate for your situation.

What is that 'cracking' sound and is it dangerous?

The sound is simply gas releasing from fluid in the joint — the same thing that happens when you crack your knuckles. It's harmless. Adjustments can also be performed without any sound at all using gentler techniques, which we use when it's more appropriate.

Do I need a referral to see a chiropractor?

No referral needed. You can book directly. If you have a GP care plan (EPC/CDM), we do accept Medicare-subsidised visits — just bring your referral if you have one and we'll process it for you.

Does private health insurance cover chiropractic?

Most extras cover policies include chiropractic. The amount depends on your fund and level of cover. We use HICAPS in-clinic so you can claim on the spot and only pay the gap — no paperwork or waiting for reimbursement.

Is chiropractic suitable for children and elderly patients?

Yes. Chiropractic care is adapted to the individual — techniques used for a child or an older adult look quite different from those used for a fit 35-year-old. We regularly see patients across all age groups and adjust our approach accordingly.

I'm in a lot of pain right now — can I still come in?

Absolutely, and the sooner the better. Acute pain is something we deal with every day. If you're struggling to move comfortably, just let us know when you book and we'll make sure your first visit is handled appropriately.

Where are you located and is there parking?

We're at 238 Canning Highway, South Perth — easy to find with a private carpark accesable off South Tce. We're also accessible by public transport. If you're unsure about getting here, give us a call and we'll point you in the right direction.
